Protek™
Protek™ is Milliken’s solution to making the gear our troops wear and use every day as high-tech and sophisticated as our most advanced fabrics. We accomplished this mission by making Protek™ the optimal combat uniform fabric for everyday use through applied technologies like wrinkle-resistance and a comfort stretch fabric construction, along with treatments to heighten durability resistance to tearing and abrasion. Protek™ is the everyday military fabric of the future.

Tegris™
Tegris™ is a proprietary Moldable Fabric Technology from Milliken with multiple applications. Made with 100% polypropylene composite material, it’s based on the patent-pending PURE technology, which creates a highly-engineered polypropylene tape yarn with a highly-drawn core for strength properties. For the military, Tegris™ is the realization of fabric designed for heavy-duty and often dangerous work. Tegris™ provides remarkable impact resistance over typical thermoplastic and thermoplastics composites as well as excellent protection against fragment, projectile or blast threats. So good, in fact, that it is being used as an armor solution against ballistic threats and retains this performance level even at extremely low temperatures.
Designed to be easily processed, Tegris™ is available in fabric or sheet stock. The sheet stock can be used for panel applications or can be molded using pressure thermoforming processes. The fabric can also be molded using the same processing techniques. It has a variety of practical advantages to materials which perform a similar function. Tegris™ is fully recyclable and safer to handle than glass-filled composites. It has the required stiffness without the weight of similar glass-based materials, and its density can be attenuated to a desired thickness. It is a highly advanced, highly versatile solution to a variety of challenges faced by our modern military.

Conceal™ PSV
The technology associated with two-way mirrors is not necessarily new, but applying that technology to fabric in a military environment to gain a strategic advantage certainly is. Milliken’s Conceal™ fabric, through a proprietary technology, offers warfighters a secure vantage point on one side of the Perimeter Security Veil allowing them to see through to the other side while remaining out of sight. It is truly a technology designed to make an immediate impact and bolster our ability to better manage military conflicts when they arise.
