Electrotextiles: The Fusion of Combat Gear and Textile Science

As with all of their military clothing and specialty fabrics, the core of any Milliken product is innovation. The field of Electrotextiles is a new frontier in fabric design and textile engineering whereby electronic circuitry is incorporated into the fabric. Applications for such technology would be wide-ranging, but initial uses include the ability to dynamically regulate a warfighter’s body temperature from heavy work loads to sleep mode automatically. Pioneering technology like this is simply another way Milliken is innovating for the military and for the next generation soldier.
