JC3 (Joint Combat Vehicle Chemical Protective Coverall)
One of the highest priorities in modern military combat apparel is protecting the warfighter from the threat of chemical and biological weapons. For those with the highest risk, tankers and aviators, we have introduced a fabric to be used in a coverall which can stand up to a variety of potential threats. The durable JC3 Coverall features FR protection in the form of Abrams™ technology from Milliken. It also employs a super-advanced, selectively-permeable Gore™ Chem-Pak® membrane which acts a barrier to petroleums, oils and lubricants, dangers these field specialists typically encounter where toxic agents can be delivered. Although the barrier blocks harmful vapors, it is amazingly lightweight and breathable, so even though they are only worn when absolutely necessary, they still maintain a significant level of comfort. Chemical and biological protective clothing are a vital part of today’s modern military, and the JC3 was designed with this fact in mind.
